Using a variety of examples, this presentation will survey the AMPL modeling language's support for new linear and integer optimization features in CPLEX 10 and nonlinear optimization features in KNITRO 5. Of particular interest are CPLEX's direct handling of certain logical implications and KNITRO's recognition of complementarity conditions as constraints.
