Andrew O. Hall, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Cybersecurity and Data Science at Marymount University and an Adjunct Research Staff Member at the Institute for Defense Analysis (IDA). Before joining IDA, He was on the faculty at the United States Military Academy at West Point and the Director of the Army Cyber Institute, the Army&#8217;s Think Tank for the cyber domain. Dr. Hall directed and oversaw research, leadership development, and partnership efforts across the cyber domain. He serves as the chair of the editorial board for the <em>Cyber Defense Review<\/em> journal and has recently focused his research in cybersecurity education. He is active in the Military and Security Applications Society (MAS) of INFORMS, having served as the society&#8217;s president. His research interests are in stochastic programming, distributionally robust optimization, optimization under decision-dependent uncertainty, and applied prescriptive and predictive analytics in supply chain, energy, and health care. He is the recipient of the CAREER Award from the Army Research Office and of the IBM Smarter Planet Faculty Innovation Award. He has received the 2019 Koopman Award from the INFORMS Military and Security Application Society and the 2020 Dean\u2019s Best Senior Faculty Research Award at GWU. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, George Washington University, Washington, DC, USA. Andrew O. Hall, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Cybersecurity and Data Science at Marymount University and an Adjunct Research Staff Member at the Institute for Defense Analysis (IDA). Before joining IDA, He was on the faculty at the United States Military Academy at West Point and the Director of the Army Cyber Institute, the Army's Think Tank for the cyber domain. Dr. Hall directed and oversaw research, leadership development, and partnership efforts across the cyber domain. He serves as the chair of the editorial board for the <em>Cyber Defense Review<\/em> journal and has recently focused his research in cybersecurity education. He is active in the Military and Security Applications Society (MAS) of INFORMS, having served as the society's president. His research interests are in stochastic programming, distributionally robust optimization, optimization under decision-dependent uncertainty, and applied prescriptive and predictive analytics in supply chain, energy, and health care. He is the recipient of the CAREER Award from the Army Research Office and of the IBM Smarter Planet Faculty Innovation Award. He has received the 2019 Koopman Award from the INFORMS Military and Security Application Society and the 2020 Dean\u2019s Best Senior Faculty Research Award at GWU.
