Resources
Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
The Certified Analytics Professional (CAP®) program is INFORMS’ globally recognized, vendor‑neutral certification for analytics professionals. CAP recently expanded to three certification levels—Essentials, Pro, and Expert—designed to align with different career stages and responsibilities across the analytics lifecycle.
Conference attendees will have opportunities to learn about the new CAP structure and available testing options, including how certification aligns with the skills and competencies highlighted throughout the conference program. CAP validates not just technical expertise, but the ability to frame business problems, apply analytics responsibly, and deliver real organizational impact.
INFORMS Analytics Framework
The INFORMS Analytics Framework (IAF) is your roadmap to analytics success, providing a proven structure for applying analytics from initial business problem framing through deployment and lifecycle management. Developed by INFORMS with input from experienced practitioners, the framework defines seven core domains that represent best practices across the full analytics lifecycle.
The IAF informs much of the conference programming, helping attendees connect sessions, workshops, and discussions back to a shared, practical framework for building effective, ethical, and impactful analytics solutions. Whether you are early in your analytics journey or leading enterprise‑level initiatives, the IAF offers a common language and structure to guide learning and application.
