Joseph Cazier, Ph.D and CAP is a Clinical Full Professor at Arizona State University who coaches students and business leaders in how to succeed at making better decisions with data. He previously served as the Dean\u2019s Club Professor, Associate Dean and the Founding Executive Director of the Center for Analytics Research and Education at Appalachian State University where he designed and directed analytics programs and worked with industry and governments in finding ways to make better decisions with data. Additionally Joseph was selected for the prestigious role of the first Faculty Fellow for the University of North Carolina System Office where he led projects related to technology, analytics and innovation. Joseph was also the co-founder of the International Working Group for Bee Data Standardization, the World Bee Count and served as the Chief Analytics Officer for HiveTracks.com.<\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Illuminating the INFORMS ABOK’s 5 Manageable Tasks for Analytics Success<\/h2>\n

Inspired by the 5 Manageable Tasks for Analytics Success written by Karl Kempf of Intel for the INFORMS Analytics Body of Knowledge (ABOK), the speaker went on a years-long research journey interviewing prominent analytics professionals, including Karl, for their take on each of these tasks and what to do to avoid failure and succeed. The results of this research have been compiled into a professional education course and will soon be released in a forthcoming book published by Wiley.
