The need to be decision-focused is important for AI \/ big data models to avoid analysis paralysis or to end up with a sophisticated model that is not useful for the business. Defining the problem and getting agreement on the decisions to be addressed are essential steps for creating a decision-focused analysis model. Analysts need good questions to ask at the front end and they need to be aware of what questions to avoid due to biases.
