Zohreh leads a team of researchers and developers within the Internet of Things Division at SAS Institute. She is passionate about designing and implementing accurate and scalable methods to analyze high-frequency and high-dimensional data in IoT applications. Her work is also focused on making statistical and machine learning methods easier to apply on real-time data. Zohreh holds a PhD degree in Operations Research from North Carolina State University. She is also passionate about education and is involved in several programs with universities.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

SAS Advanced Analytics Creates Value in IoT<\/h2>\n

With the advancement in sensor technology, high frequency-high dimensional data collection are more and more embedded as part of industrial settings. The bigger challenge these days, however, is to take advantage of these data to make better and faster decisions. One aspect of this challenge is on the hardware side related to the microchip technology and the computing power on edge devices, and the other aspect is the power of analytics to process these data and create value out of them.
