Jeff Cohen is an accomplished executive with expertise in crafting and executing dynamic business and communication strategies that enhance organizational performance and bolster leadership presence and impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jeff is the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer for INFORMS, the largest international association for the decision and data sciences. His portfolio includes leading strategic communication initiatives and public affairs activities that advance INFORMS’ thought and market leadership profiles and public policy objectives; driving the development and implementation of cascading strategy execution frameworks; optimizing surplus-generating programs, products, and services; and guiding business development and sales initiatives.<\/p>\n

Over the course of his career, Jeff has held a variety of roles with start-up and established businesses and global strategic communication firms. He also served as a senior advisor to federal, state, and local political candidates and committees, as Chief of Staff and Communications Director for a Member of Congress, and as Press Secretary for a US Senator.<\/p>\n

In addition, Jeff is a 2nd year Ph.D. student studying Organizational Leadership at Eastern University in St. David’s, Pennsylvania. His research focus is on the systemic nexus between leadership and lateral communications, organizational behavior, and strategy execution in high-reliability and matrix organizations. He earned his MBA from Johns Hopkins University, an MA from The George Washington University, and his BA from Ithaca College.<\/span><\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The federal government is increasingly leveraging analytics and data science within their decision making.
