More than 20 years ago he developed Strategic Gaming, the novel and practical game theory approach, which he has applied in nearly 200 strategy and negotiation engagements to help companies capture billions of dollars in value. He also helped to instill game theory capabilities at several companies and has delivered training to over a thousand business professionals. Dr. Papayoanou is the author of Game Theory for Business: A Primer in Strategic Gaming, as well as several articles. His most recent piece, \u201cAddressing Value Drain in the Deal-Making Function,\u201d will soon be published by Management and Business Review. For dealmakers to quickly close deals that add substantial value, they must use methods that help them to properly prepare and negotiate.
