His portfolio includes leading strategic communication initiatives and public affairs activities that advance INFORMS\u2019 thought and market leadership profiles and public policy objectives; driving the development and implementation of cascading strategy execution frameworks; optimizing surplus-generating programs, products, and services; and guiding business development and sales initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of his career, Jeff has held a variety of roles with start-up and established businesses and global strategic communication firms. He also served as a senior advisor to federal, state, and local political candidates and committees, as Chief of Staff and Communications Director for a Member of Congress, and as Press Secretary for a US Senator.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Jeff is a 2nd year Ph.D. student studying Organizational Leadership at Eastern University in St. David\u2019s, Pennsylvania. His research focus is on the systemic nexus between leadership and lateral communications, organizational behavior, and strategy execution in high-reliability and matrix organizations. Furthermore, with the election year in full swing, the presentation will analyze the current landscape, discussing its impact on our efforts and strategies to maximize our initiatives. This session promises to be an enriching experience for those looking to deepen their understanding of public affairs and advocacy in the analytics field.<\/p>\n<p>During the presentation, the audience will learn the full life cycle of transforming raw data into the materials of analytics. Topics will include how to build a data system that can evolve over time, minimize technical debt, and be easily documented. SaaS solutions for data storage, movement and transformation have fundamentally changed the game. This session will distinguish between similar concepts like a Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Lake House. The audience will also learn about different technology options for moving and transforming data.
