products. He is proficient in various domains, including operations research, logistics analysis, sports analytics, data-based decision-making, and data quality evaluation. Aside from his leadership role at CANA as the Senior Director of Analytics, he is actively involved in academia as a faculty member at the University of Arkansas, where he teaches Operations and Engineering Management in the graduate programs. He also serves as an MBA Executive Advisor at the Poole School of Management at NC State University. In addition, Walt has co-authored a book entitled &#8220;Field Guide to Compelling Analytics&#8221; and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School. In 2023, his expertise was further recognized by receiving the MORS Vance R. Wanner Memorial Award.
