Submission is open.\u00a0This is a\u00a0<\/span>fully in-person<\/b>\u00a0meeting. All speakers must be present in Phoenix.<\/span><\/p>\n

The theme for the 2023 INFORMS Annual Meeting will help find new ways to tackle one of the National Science Foundation’s “10 Big Problems,” how to harness the data revolution … all with the power of OR\/MS!<\/strong> We encourage all prospective speakers to keep this theme in mind as they explore the different opportunities to present at this year’s Annual Meeting!<\/p>\n

Abstract submissions are now closed.\u00a0<\/strong>
You may continue to edit your abstract submission by logging in here<\/a> until August 23.\u00a0<\/p>\n

All speakers are required to register and make payment by August 31, 2023<\/strong>. Unregistered speakers will be notified and their presentation may be removed from the program.<\/p>\n

Presentation Limitation<\/span><\/h2>\n

An attendee may only present one invited, one contributed, or one flash talk at the conference. The first presentation submitted with the individual\u2019s name as a presenter will be accepted.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Presentation Types<\/span><\/h2>\n

Based on positive feedback, technical sessions will be 75-minutes<\/strong> long again this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Community\/Committee’s Choice Submissions<\/strong> (previously called Invited or Sponsored): These are submitted by a Session Chair who has organized a full session. Typically, they have 4 presentations that are 15-18 minutes each.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Contributed Submissions<\/strong>: These are submitted by a speaker using the “Submit an Abstract” button above. These will have 4-5 presentations that are 15 minutes each.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Flash Submissions<\/strong>: These may be invited by a Session Chair who has organized a Flash Session, or submitted by a speaker using the “Submit an Abstract” button above. These will have about 10 presentations that are 5 minutes each. The remainder of the time (about 20-minutes) will be a group Q&A discussion.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Poster Submissions<\/strong><\/a>: These are submitted by a presenter using the “Submit an Abstract” button above. A poster contest will take place at the Annual Meeting (more details to come). You must bring a physical copy of your poster with you to display at the meeting.<\/p>\n

Abstract should be 750 characters maximum (approximately 60 words), title of abstract \u2013 150 characters maximum.<\/div>\n
