Poster Sessions

Track Coordinators: Xi Chen, Virginia Tech and Susan Hunter, Purdue University

The Poster Sessions offers a timely venue to present and discuss new modeling and simulation research through a forum encouraging graphical presentation, demonstration, and active engagement among Winter Simulation Conference participants.

The Poster Sessions are planned for Sunday, December 11, 2016, in the mid-afternoon and early evening. Please note that this is a day earlier than the poster session time than in the previous WSC. Poster sessions will include a poster madness session, followed by a display of the posters.

Poster presenters will submit an abstract and a 2-page extended abstract describing their work for consideration via the WSC submission site. Templates and instructions for authors for the extended abstracts are available in the WSC Author Kit. Additional information regarding the presentation format will be sent to accepted presenters after the decisions are made.

Students who showcase their work as a poster in regular WSC poster sessions are not eligible to participate in PhD Colloquium (and vice versa). Hence, one should select to participate in either the regular poster session or the Colloquium (not both).
