(Personal reasons include, but are not limited to, inability to obtain a visa, caring responsibilities, bereavement, or personal or family healthcare concerns.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Since space is limited, all people anticipating difficulty traveling to WSC according to 1 or 2 are encouraged to submit to this track.<\/p>\n<h2>Paper and Extended Abstract Submissions:<\/h2>\n<p>When submitting a paper or extended abstract to this track, please select one of the following options when filling out the submission form:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Simulation Around the World Contributed Paper, or<\/li>\n<li>Simulation Around the World Contributed Extended Abstract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To assist with identifying appropriate reviewers, submissions should identify a secondary track that best aligns with the submission. For example, if the paper is an application of simulation optimization, select \u201cSimulation Optimization\u201d as an alternate track to help guide the review process.<\/p>\n<p>The submission requirements and deadlines are the same as for regular contributed papers or extended abstracts. Additionally, authors will need to submit a short statement of no more than 250 words explaining how their submission aligns with the goals of the SATW track (e.g., indicating 1 or 2 above). The track committee will review all applications to determine their suitability for the SATW track. Applications will also be reviewed for technical merit following the standard review process.<\/p>\n<h2>Fees:<\/h2>\n<p>Accepted submissions should be presented at WSC. Since SATW is a hybrid track, two forms of presentations are allowed: in-person or online.
