INFORMS is seeking experienced practitioners to volunteer as Career Coaches at Analytics+. Coaches provide 30-minute, high impact‑ sessions for early to midcareer‑ attendees, including a 10‑minute resume review sprint plus guided coaching on interview preparation, personal branding, and career trajectory planning. Your insights can help participants sharpen their next steps—and you’ll be supporting the Analytics+ Career Studio’s professional development mission.
What to Expect
- You’ll receive a quick on‑site run‑sheet (cheat sheet) and simple rubric to keep sessions consistent.
- Staff will manage check-in and queueing‑ at the desk so you can focus on coaching.
- After the event, we may send a brief feedback survey (you used coach feedback surveys in 2025 to improve future sessions).
INFORMS Career Studio Coaching
Coaches provide short, high-impact guidance to Analytics+ attendees through:
- Resume review sprint (10 minutes): clarity, impact, and role alignment suggestions
- Coaching focus (15 minutes): interview prep, personal branding & positioning, or career trajectory planning
- Action plan (5 minutes): three concrete next steps for the attendee
The Coaching open house is designed as personalized sessions with flexible focus areas so participants can prioritize what matters most to their professional journey.
