Getting Here

The closest airport is Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) located 6.9 miles away from the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.

Please be aware that traffic can be very heavy around the DC Area.  Heavy traffic times vary but are typically between 6-10am and 3-7pm.   Plan travel accordingly and note that some transportation costs (i.e. Uber/Lyft) may vary depending on travel times.

The Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10 Mike and 5K are taking place on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12. The races are in Washington, DC and the host hotel is in Crystal City/Arlington, VA but we want to make sure you’re aware of some extra traffic and road closures that could occur.

Parking

Parking validation is not available for conference attendees.

Self-parking is available for the daily rate of $46/day. Please refer to What to Expect on the Gaylord National website to confirm pricing before arrival.

Valet parking is available for $70/day.

Presenters: AV, Bring your Laptop

Computer projectors or monitors will be available in every session room. You must bring your own laptop (or plan to share with another presenter) and AC power adapter. Mac users, don’t forget your own HDMI adapter (i.e., dongle). Since most of the meeting rooms are small to moderate size, amplified sound and microphones will not be provided. Technical assistance will be available for any AV issues.

Courtesy to Speakers

During sessions, please silence all cell phones and other devices. Also note that the use of cameras and recording devices is prohibited unless you have received prior permission from the speaker.

Conference Check-in

Conference check-in, including badge pick-up for attendees, speakers, VIPs, and guests, and a full-service registration desk, are located at the Annapolis Registration Desk on the Ballroom Level on Sunday, 7:30am-7pmMonday, 7:30am-7pm, and Tuesday, 7:30am-4pm.

If you’ve already registered, you may print your badge and pick up your conference materials. You will be required to enter your last name to check in. Once you have confirmed your registration, your badge will print out. Please proceed to the adjoining area to pick up your lanyard and conference materials.

Badges are required for conference sessions, meals, and all meeting events, including the Edelman Gala. All attendees, including speakers and session chairs, must register and pay the registration fee. Lost badges can be replaced at the Conference Check-in desk for a nominal fee.

BYOWB

Bring Your Own Water Bottle (BYOWB) and support INFORMS’ sustainability efforts. The Gaylord has bottle filling stations through the hotel and convention center.

The conference schedule, presentation and exhibit details, attendee directory, and maps can be found on the mobile app. To download, visit the Apple Store or Google Play Store and search for “Engagefully.” Once installed, open the app and search for “INFORMS.”

To access the Analytics+ Conference, click on Conferences, select Upcoming, then select the 2026 INFORMS Analytics+ Conference.

When you view the conference schedule, you can browse through presentations and events or search for specific speakers/keywords. As you find events/presentations that interest you, click on the checked calendar icon to add it to your schedule.

Networking and Meals

Full conference attendees are offered the following opportunities to network and eat:

Please note: Breakfast is not provided. Lunch is provided in the Exhibit Hall on Monday & Tuesday only. Menu selections will be available in the mobile app.

The hotel offers several convenient breakfast options, including the Potomac District Café & Market and Old Hickory, along with numerous restaurants within walking distance of the Gaylord. Be sure to check the mobile app for a curated list of nearby dining options.

Edelman Gala & Banquet

Monday, 7-10pm
Woodrow Wilson Ballroom

This celebration on Monday evening will honor the very best in advanced analytics and operations research, as we salute the 2026 finalists and announce the 2026 winner of the Franz Edelman Award. Winners of the INFORMS Prize, Daniel H. Wagner Prize, UPS George D. Smith Prize, and the Early Career Practitioner Award will also be recognized. Attendance at the banquet is included for full conference registrants. A number of tables close to the stage will be reserved for Edelman Committee members, judges, coaches, finalist teams, and sponsors. All other tables are available for open seating. Come celebrate with your colleagues!

This year, we are using RSVPs and entrée selections to aid us in planning and help reduce food waste. If you did not indicate whether you will attend the gala and make your entrée selection during registration, please Manage Registration to RSVP.

What to Wear?

Dress during the day and for the Sunday receptions is business casual. For the Edelman Gala on Monday evening, the dress is semiformal, such as one would wear for fine restaurant dining (e.g., jacket and tie or dress). We recommend that you check the weather online before traveling. In addition, hotel meeting rooms are often chilly, so plan to wear a sweater or light jacket.
