Tell Them stories: Going from Proof of Concepts to Value with Generative AI: Lessons Learned from Internal Dogfooding within AWS

You’ve probably heard and rolled your eyes at the marketing pitch on what generative AI (GenAI) can do for you and your business. But, like any new technology, going from hype to value takes a lot of work with experimentation and bruises. At AWS, there’s no shortage of good ideas, but like every organization the devil is in the details. Sustainable execution is much harder than most people realize. In this session, you will learn about internal GenAI tools that AWS built to improve productivity and what mistakes we made so that you can accelerate your time to value with your projects. Although this presentation will cover AWS tools such as Amazon Q, Bedrock, SageMaker, and more, the processes and insights will apply to all technology stacks or tools.
