Job Market Showcase Cluster

The Job Market Showcase Track is a new initiative at the INFORMS Annual Meeting, designed to centralize job seekers and employers in one dedicated space. This track provides an opportunity for recent and soon-to-be graduates to present their research and engage with potential employers. 

Submission Deadline: April 30, 2026
 

Who Can Participate?

To be eligible to give a Job Talk, participants must:

  • Be a current member of Iyoung woman student wearing cap in front of "job" words written blackboardNFORMS
  • Be a current post-doc or PhD student (with an anticipated completion date by summer 2027) or have received a PhD degree within the past two years (i.e., not prior to 2024)
  • Be actively searching for an academic or industry job during the 2026-2027 school year
  • Obtain advisor confirmation of eligibility 
    • Upon completion of submission, an automated email will be sent to your advisor requesting confirmation.
  • Adhere to the INFORMS Annual Meeting one-talk policy:
    • A speaker in the Job Market Showcase Track may not give another technical talk at the conference.

Job Talk Format

  • Each session will feature four job talks
  • Recommended structure:
    • 15-minute presentation
    • 3-minute Q&A session
    • Total: 18 minutes per speaker
