The Commercial Case Studies Track serves as a multidisciplinary forum for commercial simulation practitioners to present their real-world use of simulation, modeling and analysis. This is a unique opportunity to share how your work has driven business value, improved operations, or supported strategic decisions.

All you need to submit in advance is a 2-page extended abstract. No full paper is required. At the conference, we are looking forward to your compelling in-person 25-minute presentation that tells the story of how simulation drove value in your organization or stakeholders.

We welcome submissions from a variety of fields, including but not limited to:

  • Manufacturing
  • Logistics, Distribution and Supply-chain
  • Healthcare
  • Mining, Oil and Gas
  • Space, Aerospace or Defense
  • Food services
  • Retail or Consumer-facing services
  • Digital Twins and Emulation
  • Best Practices & Standards in Industry
  • Integrating Simulation with other techniques

Submission Format and Guidelines:

Please submit a 2-page extended abstract using the paper submission system by the submission deadline of August 1, 2025. No full paper is required. Please use the Extended Abstract Template provided and follow its formatting instructions. Accepted case studies will have their extended abstracts published on the WSC Program Archive website, ensuring broad visibility of your work.

Presentation Format:

This track will comprise of 25-minute presentations, followed by 5 minutes for questions and answers. Presentations should focus on a specific problem where simulation was used to conduct an analysis and provide recommendations of potential solutions.

Task schedule:

  • August 1, 2025: Electronically submit 2-page extended abstracts
  • September 1, 2025: Notification of acceptance to authors
  • September 12, 2025: Final extended abstracts due
  • September 19, 2025: Eligibility check for the submitted abstracts
