Located conveniently across the street from the Raleigh Convention Center and less than a five-minute walk, the Raleigh Marriott’s room rate is $239 + applicable state and local taxes (currently 13.2%).

Traveling from North Carolina? 
The Piedmont train offers multiple daily departures between Charlotte and Raleigh, serving Kannapolis, Salisbury, High Point, Greensboro, Burlington, Durham and Cary. The trip from Charlotte takes about three hours, providing a comfortable, convenient alternative to driving.

The closest public parking decks to the Raleigh Convention Center are located at:

  • Lenoir Street between Salisbury Street and Fayetteville Street
  • Lenoir Street between Salisbury and McDowell Street
  • Davie Street between McDowell and Dawson Street
  • Cabarrus Street between McDowell and Dawson Street
  • Salisbury Street between Cabarrus and Davie Street

The Raleigh Convention Center does not control the parking rates or maintenance of these garages. Listed parking decks are operated by The Car Park. For concerns with a parking facility or for more information, contact The Car Park.

Directions

The Raleigh Convention Center is adjacent to the Red Hat Amphitheater and is located at 500 South Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC 27601. The City has closed one block of South Street, from McDowell to Dawson streets, permanently on Monday, April 14. The closure is to make room for the relocation of Red Hat Amphitheater. The amphitheater is moving to make room for the Convention Center expansion.

  • From Points West: I-40 east to exit 298B South Saunders Street.
  • From Points East: 64/264 to I-440 east; merge onto I-40 west and exit at 298B South Saunders Street.
  • From Points South: US-1 north to I-40 east; exit at 298B South Saunders Street.
  • From Points North: US-1 South into the city – left on Lenoir Street.
