Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Tour

The tour will begin with a short presentation on the history and research of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Participants will then tour FLEXLAB, the most flexible, comprehensive and advanced building and efficiency simulator in the world (http://flexlab.lbl.gov) and the Advanced Light Source, an electron accelerator/storage ring that serves as one of the world’s premier sources of x-ray and ultraviolet light for scientific research (http://www-als.lbl.gov).
Participants must provide information on their affiliation and citizenship when they sign up for the tour and should bring identification to the tour. Please email this information to meetings@informs.org. Unfortunately, citizens of Cuba, Iran, Sudan, and Syria cannot be accommodated on this tour.
