The 2024 INFORMS Virtual Career Fair and all related networking activities (held at 2024 INFORMS Analytics Conference) provide employers with the opportunity to meet and collect resumes from interested jobseekers who range from highly seasoned professionals in the academic or industrial space to freshly minted PhD’s and master’s students just entering the workforce. Employers can arrange private LIVE chats (text chats and video) from their own virtual booth as well as Discussion Feeds.
Participation in the 2024 INFORMS Virtual Career Fair raises the visibility of your organization with meeting participants and registered jobseekers. All Career Fair events are widely advertised, not only to job seekers already signed up in INFORMS Career Center, but also to all of the professionals attending the Analytics Conference.

Employer Registration
Employer Virtual Career Fair Booths include:
- Employer Profiles: Showcases your organization’s unique brand including videos you can upload.
- Private Sessions: Employers communicate in private chat windows for more personalized interactions. Job seekers queue up and employers speak with candidates privately.
- Discussion Feeds: Employer booths have a “Discussion” tab where event participants (representatives & candidates) can leave public comments within a booth, creating additional points of engagement during the live event.
- Video Chat Sessions: No special equipment is required.
- Multi-recruiter access to search resumes, preselect from, and capture resumes of registered candidates.
- Unrestricted time frame to filter and export candidates’ profile details and contact information.

All organizations can register online to take part in the Virtual Career Fair and can choose from only these 3 package options.
Refunds/cancellations: Requests must be received in writing (email or fax). Any late cancellation after April 22, 2024, will not be eligible for a full refund but can have their registrations fee applied to a future Career Fair. Post-event cancellations will receive no refunds.

Registration is open for the 2024 INFORMS Virtual Career Fair. Learn about available job openings from multiple employers and meet with individual recruiters through private chats and discussion posts. Jobs will be posted on Employers virtual booths, and you can view featured opportunities. If you’re an active or passive job seeker, sign up for FREE and create your profile today.
Once you register and upload your resume to your profile, organizations may send messages to your account on available openings. Register early so employers can review your qualifications.
Jobseeker Career Fair Tips:
- You may have the option to reply directly to the message based on the settings chosen by the employer.
- Click “Event Details” to review each Organization Profile, express your interest in specific organizations, and access the Chat Schedule.
- PREPARE FOR THE FAIR: Review the Organizations’ profiles and formulate questions before joining the Chat Sessions.
- Review job listings and be informed about positions that interest you.
- Not all employers post positions in the Virtual Fair System and may refer you to their website.
