Application of Advanced Analytics and AI in the Sourcing Supply Chain

This talk will cover where the Advanced Analytics team has been developing leading edge analytics and AI solutions for the sourcing supply chain. I will cover strategies used for creating a successful analytics team, methodology used to develop and integrate leading edge analytics into the business, and deep dive into several use cases. Use cases would include contract risk detection, incoming materials inventory strategies, and ecosystem sensing through external/internal intelligence. The team uses a variety of techniques which include machine learning, simulation, optimization, advanced statistics, and NLP with recent emphasis using LLM’s.
