Puneet Gupta

Puneet Gupta manages the Forecasting Data Science team at Cisco Systems in its Supply Chain. His team is driving Cisco’s charge to build a world leading demand forecasting analytics practice using transparent and causal AI approaches and optimal ensembles, leveraging methodologies from the fields of quantitative finance, econometrics, and supply chain to substantially augment Cisco’s Global Planning function. Puneet has a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, and experience developing Semiconductor test technology at Intel Corporation, developing and managing investment portfolios based on a quantitative macro-based intermediate term market forecasting methodology through an RIA he co-founded, and in leveraging AI to model and negotiate product and portfolio costs for Electronics Manufacturing and for decision support and optimization of Supply Chain Networks at Cisco Systems. He is also midway into a Masters degree in Statistics/Data Science in Finance at Purdue University.
