Abstract Submission
All speakers are required to register and make payment by July 22, 2026. Unregistered speakers will be notified, and their presentation may be removed from the program.
Presentation Limitation
An attendee may present only one presentation at the conference (invited, contributed, or poster). The first presentation submitted with the individual listed as a presenter will be accepted.
An attendee may participate on only one panel.
Presentation Types
Technical sessions will be 75 minutes in length for the 2026 INFORMS Annual Meeting.
For all presentation types, speakers must be registered and paid by July 22, 2026, in order to be scheduled.
Invited Submissions
(Community Sessions, Committee’s Choice Sessions, and Job Market Showcase)
These sessions are submitted by a Session Chair who has organized a complete session.
- Typically include 4–5 presentations
- Each presentation is 15–18 minutes.
Job Talk Submissions
Job Talk Showcase sessions are highly visible sessions designed to centralize job seekers and employers in one dedicated space. This track provides an opportunity for recent and soon-to-be graduates to present their research and engage with potential employers. For more information: Job Market Showcase
- 4 presenters
- Each presentation is 18 minutes.
Contributed Submissions
Contributed submissions are submitted directly by presenters using the “Submit an Abstract” button above.
- Typically organized into sessions with approximately 10 presentations
- Each presentation is approximately 7 minutes.
Poster Submissions
Poster submissions are submitted by presenters using the “Submit an Abstract” button above.
- A poster competition will take place during the Annual Meeting (additional details to come).
- Presenters must bring a physical copy of their poster to display onsite at the meeting.
Abstract Guidelines (Size/Length)
- Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words.
- Letters, numbers, and common math symbols* accepted.
- All abstracts must be in English.
- Do not include title or author information in the body of your abstract.
- Abstracts will be published exactly as entered if accepted.
- Review your abstract and check for typographical and spelling errors, coherence and technical content.
PLEASE NOTE: Use only “text pad” when entering math symbols.
