HOW TO REGISTER

  • Step #1 – Register for the 2026 INFORMS Annual Meeting (required).

  • Step #2 – Create or update your Career Center job seeker account at https://careercenter.informs.org/  (Register or Sign In). Complete your Career Center profile and upload an up-to-date resume so employers can discover you.

  • Step #3 – Register for the Career Fair on the Career Center event page (go to https://careercenter.informs.org/events and click on the “Register as an Attendee” button). Once registered, you can review openings, plan who to meet, respond to interview requests and manage your schedule.

  • Step #4 – If you want a virtual resume review or coaching session, register directly for either or both programs below. Sessions are ongoing through 11/30, so you can sign up anytime and aren’t limited to a single slot.

TIPS & REMINDERS: WHAT TO DO IN ADVANCE

  • Ensure your talent profile is completed, and your up-to-date resume is uploaded. Participating employers will have access to the resume database.

  • Research the companies you’re interested in interviewing with. Be ready to discuss your education, skill sets, and past experiences and how you can help the employers you meet.

  • Print extra copies of your resume if you plan to share paper copies on site. INFORMS does not offer on-site printing and hotel options may be limited.

  • Come rested and ready to make a great first impression.

  • Follow up with a thank-you email after interviews. If you do a resume review/coaching session, send a thank-you note to your volunteer reviewer/coach.

Career Coaching — A short conversation on interview prep, career direction, personal branding, or employer conversations. About 30 minutes, matched with a coach based on your background and goals. One conversation or a few, your call.

Resume Review — Expert feedback on your resume’s clarity, structure, and impact. Choose an Academic or Industry track. About 30 minutes, live or in writing ahead of a scheduled discussion.
