The Wm. Michael Barnes ’64 Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISEN) is ranked fifth for graduate programs and seventh for undergraduate programs among public institutions by U.S. News & World Report. ISEN’s focus areas include advanced manufacturing, data science and engineering, health and human systems engineering and operations research. Students within the department gain experience through study abroad opportunities, hands-on labs, internships, and the ISEN Partnership Program. In addition, Texas A&M produces more Fortune 500 CEOs than any other Texas university, preparing students for successful careers.
