The Wm Michael Barnes ’64 Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering is one of six named programs in the country with over 1,500 students. Ranked eighth in public undergraduate and sixth in graduate programs by the U.S. News and World Report, focus areas are advanced manufacturing, data science and engineering, health and human systems engineering, and operations research.
The department is now offering a new Bachelor of Science in Data Engineering. Other degrees offered are Bachelor of Science, Master of Engineering, Master of Science, and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering, and Master of Science in Engineering Management. In addition, the department has established the ISEN Partnership Program to offer companies more ways to collaborate, including Senior Capstone Projects and Career Fair. https://engineering.tamu.edu/industrial
