INFORMS Squad

During the 2023 INFORMS Annual Meeting, be on the lookout for members of the new INFORMS Squad (aka Squid Squad, because a group of squid is a squad)!

These friendly faces (and our chatbot George!) are available to help answer questions as you navigate the meeting, whether it’s directions to Registration, where the closing plenary is, or what time the coffee breaks are… If you see an attendee wearing an INFORMS Squad t-shirt or button, don’t hesitate to find them in the Exhibit Hall or stop them in the Hyatt hallways – they are here to help new and devoted attendees alike.

The members of the INFORMS Squad are volunteer ambassadors with a passion for helping to promote our community; connecting groups to foster growth and knowledge-sharing; and building an enthusiastic and strong INFORMS presence, online and in person.

During the Annual Meeting, they are the face of INFORMS, so get to know their faces!

The Squad will be available for an “Ask Me Anything” session on Sunday, October 15, during the coffee break at 3:30pm in the Exhibit Hall in the Phoenix Convention Center. Catch them on the Center Stage, come with questions, and don’t forget to thank them for doing an ink-credible job!
