In-Person Career Fair
The in-person event begins with a formal Career Fair from 11am to 5pm on Sunday, October 24. After employers and jobseekers have had a chance to network and exchange information, we will be holding two interview days on Monday, October 25, and Tuesday, October 26, from 9am to 5pm.
If you plan on attending in-person, please create a profile on the INFORMS Career Center and upload a current copy of your resume. Employers will be able to see these materials in advance of the Career Fair, and doing so increases your chances of being selected for an interview on Monday or Tuesday.
To register, please consult the information below.
You must register for the 2021 INFORMS Annual Meeting to attend the in-person Career Fair in Anaheim. You can go here to register for the Annual Meeting. Once you are registered to attend the Annual Meeting, be sure to create or update your Career Center profile. Next, select “Attend This Event” on the Career Center event site so participating employers can find you and potentially schedule interviews. Go here to see the Career Center event.
Virtual Career Fair
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, last year’s Annual Meeting Career Fair took place in an entirely virtual setting. Despite this change, the event was highly successful and INFORMS is happy to host another virtual event in the leadup to the 2021 Annual Meeting.
Attendees of the virtual Career Fair will be able to:
- Gather information and make vital connections via interactive employer booths
- View open jobs and connect with employers
- Learn about the companies and their opportunities through Public Chat
- Research the files of the employers who participate
- Upload your resume for the job openings that meet your qualifications
- Request private chats to connect with recruiters
Registration for the event is FREE but you must pre-register. Please go here for more information and to register for the Virtual Career Fair.
Both In-Person and Virtual Career Fairs
Those who register for both in-person and virtual options will have the ability to gather information, make connections, and chat with and be seen by organizations in advance of the in-person event.
