1 How can I stay safe from covid?
To continue our commitment to minimizing risk for all in-person event participants, ALL INFORMS Meetings in 2022 will be vaccine-mandated* events.
Additionally, INFORMS will follow guidance and leading practices for events from the CDC and WHO. To learn more about this policy and its requirements, including accepted vaccines, religious or medical exemptions, please visit our Health & Safety page.
2What networking opportunities are available?
There will be daily networking sessions and lunches, an exhibit hall on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, and a Career Fair on Sunday.
3 What important dates do I need to know?
It’s almost meeting time, but there are still a couple of dates to keep in mind:
- Speaker registration deadline is July 20
- Early bird registration ends Sept. 12

*A person is considered fully vaccinated two (2) weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, OR two (2) weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine. If you don’t meet these requirements, regardless of your age, you are NOT fully vaccinated.
Types of Presentations at #INFORMS2022
Our technical sessions cover the latest research and best practices from the global O.R. and analytics community across all of our tracks, followed by Q&A.
Poster presentations capture the Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, and Literature Cited for a complex problem.
Keynote and Plenary Sessions
Presented daily throughout the meeting by leading experts in their fields, these talks cover topics relating to the advancement of urban analytics and other fascinating topic areas. These sessions include Q&A.
Session attendees will have the opportunity to learn about a broad range of vendor products and services at a high level, and participate in Q&A.
These 45-minute, theater-style sessions will provide educational information and case studies on relevant analytics concepts and vendor products and services.
These sessions share an introduction to emerging and classical subfields of operations research and management science, which are published annually in TutORials in Operations Research and explored at the Annual Meeting.
