Ms. Palermo has experience across multiple CPG businesses and Supply Chain domain across her 20+ years experience. Ms. Palermo has been a key global leader in Procter and Gamble’s supply chain demand and planning digital transformation recognized by Gartner’s Supply Chain Master designation for the last seven years. Ms. Palermo was recognized by Supply and Demand Chain Executive as a 2019 Inaugural Woman of the Year for her leadership of Procter and Gamble’s Global Supply Chain Citizen Developer Digital Fluency program to create over 500 global supply chain professionals digital upskilling to create digital solutions in days for the most critical business opportunities.

Accelerating Business Value through Digitally Upskilling Supply Chain Professionals

Adrienne Palermo, Senior Director of North America Oral Care Supply Network Operations for Procter & Gamble, will share Procter and Gamble’s practical approach and results to transform their business results before and during the pandemic accelerating digital fluency in their end to end Supply Chain Organization. Adrienne will share the eight step approach and investment that has become a key cornerstone for the Consumer Products company to:

  • Enable sustainable volume and sales growth and 5% cost and cash savings per year by creating unique supply chain solutions for consumers, retailers, and P&G business units.
  • Develop and implement digital supply chain solutions within hours, days and weeks vs. months/ years.
  • Create a digital culture that experiments with and adopts emerging technology as it seeks to solve supply chain challenges across our vectors of resiliency and planning horizons.
  • Train and qualify 1000+ supply chain professionals to digitally learn and leverage emerging technologies (i.e. ETL, visualization, analytical methods, process automation, modeling and simulation, process orchestration, machine learning, Augmented/ Virtual reality).
  • Create a digital career path centered around process automation and data and analytics for Supply Chain professionals, inside the supply chain operation in addition to IT and Engineering.
