Object-oriented Supply Chain Simulation Tool for Supply Chain Risk Measurement and Mitigation

Object-oriented discrete event simulation methodologies are well-positioned to effectively model the characteristics and operations of a supply chain network. This presentation will cover three key topics: (1) a brief introduction to supply chain risk assessment and mitigation strategy identification methodologies; (2) a tutorial on object-oriented discrete event simulation and its application to supply chain networks; and (3) a case study applying the method to a pharmaceutical company facing three supply chain risks.
