Mike was the co-founder and CEO of Opex Analytics, an AI firm that grew to 140 people from 2013 to 2019 when LLamasoft acquired it. Opex Analytics worked primarily with Fortune 500 companies. Coupa acquired LLamasoft in late 2020. At Coupa, he was VP of AI Center of Excellence until Dec 2021. Mike is also an adjunct professor at Northwestern University. He teaches Operations Excellence, Managerial Analytics, and Optimization in various Masters programs. He is the lead author of the books “Supply Chain Network Design” and “Managerial.”
