Taher is an ardent analytics consultant. He is passionate about helping his clients make smarter decisions and take calculated risks they understand.
In his current role, as an analytics senior manager at EY in Washington D.C., he helps clients transform their finance and accounting functions by leveraging advacned analytics and the latest digital technologies. Previously, as a leader in Deloitte’s Center for Risk Modeling and Simulation, Taher has led global, cross-industry analytics projects to assist clients quantify their operational, financial, and strategic risks.
Taher holds a doctorate degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) and a Project Management Professional (PMP). In his free time, Taher gives lectures in the Department of Decision Sciences at the George Washington University, collaborates with the Alliance for Decision Education to propagate the value of good decision-making skills, and helps students learn about financial literacy by volunteering with Junior Achievement.

Taher has been leading end-to-end digital and analytics projects for over a decade. During this time, he has witnessed the advantage of being adaptive and heuristic. His goal is to improve the next decade of analytics consulting by sharing his observations and having an open dialogue with other professionals in this field.
